An interview with Nadir Balcikli aka Logorado
We sat down with Nadir Balcikli aka Logorado, who has helped Big Colors in a big way. He’s contribution to our logo, Vuveo logo and others that will feature on our site make Nadir an invaluable member of the team. Not only is Nadir’s work is popular on websites such as Logopond, Logomoose and Brandstack, but he is also a great guy and a loving husband who donates his spare time to charity work.
So let’s get to know Nadir:
1. So in less than 50 words describe yourself?
I am a 26 year old married designer living in Ankara/Turkey. The absolute musts in my life are my wife, paper, pen, and my computer. If these were not in my life, I wouldn’t have been telling you these things today. Taking photographs, reading personal development books and watching psychology- thriller movies may be counted as my favorite hobbies.
2. What inspired you to become a designer?
I chose the design sector because I can’t live without create something new and unique.
3. Where do you find creative inspiration?
A classic question. Everything! Nature, environment, people, friends, internet, books, movies… In short, EVERYTHING in my life.
4. If you were not a designer, what would you be doing?
As I said in my earlier interviews, I’d be a photographer. I can’t dream myself doing something that doesn’t require creativity.
5. If there is one thing in the world you couldn’t live without, what would it be?
My wife. ( I love you baby!)
6. Tell us about your design business, what makes you different than the rest?
I have my own style. My colors, lines, uniqueness. These make me different than the rest.

8. So tell us about your charity, what they do, who they help?
TOCEV. Their purpose of establishment : To contribute to raise a cultivated, well-educated, generation for the future of Turkey, to give material and moral support to children who want to be educated during all their school life, but who are deprived of education due to the economic insufficiency of their family and who are obliged to work to earn their living, to support them to be harmonic and creative people in our social life.
9. Why is this charity important to you?
Because they are helping to the future of my country, our future is our children.
10. And last question, if you could help the world in one way in your lifetime, what would you do?
Really don’t know exactly but something which makes the people happy.

So you may be asking, when is Big Colors launching? Well the good news its only days away. We are tweaking the final touches to our first wordpress themes, which will all be avaliable from our launch date. We are also working on a few free themes to give to the people with the thanks to our sponsors. There is also our store theme which will allow you to setup your own online store.
Some of the themes coming your way are Popculture, a wordpress theme dedicated to superhero and sci-fi fans everywhere. There is also Vidheat, a wordpress video blog posting site which is dedicated for hardcore video junkies everywhere. We are also launching the Bigcolors admin theme which changes the way Wordpress administration works. Tested with all major plug-ins, this theme allows you to tweak the Wordpress Administration Panel for your customers and your blog!
